Nicole’s Nest is a 4-Star child care center whose mission is to inspire and nurture the whole child development — creating a safe and healthy environment for our children, our parents and our staff. We also want the very best for our community and society.
At Nicole’s Nest II, we believe that to teach is to touch someone’s life forever. So our teaching should address the needs, desires and curiosities of our children.
Our facility, located at 810 Tryon Street in Sanford, is safe, clean and refreshing — a warm and cheerful center! We are a 4-Star center recognized by The Division of Child Development and Early Education.
Owner | Nicole Mesu: I am a mother of four children — two girls and two boys. I am a nurse by profession, but I found that I have a passion to care for the little ones most and a passion to give them the basic foundations early in their lives. I believe that to teach is to touch a life forever. In 2006, I opened my home daycare, and now I am owner of a child care center.
Ethelene Lee: I have been working in early childhood development for over 30 years. I have a passion for children, because they are the future generation of our families, our communities and our country. Providing a solid foundation for education and social skills starts early in life. I graduated in May with an associates degree in Early Childhood. I will continue to work with children of all ages with their social and educational developmental skills.
Danielle Haywood: I am a mother of two — one girl and one boy. I have been working in this field for over 20 years, all at the same facility. I am CPR and First Aid-certified, and I am also continuing to get credits toward Early Childhood education. I enjoy working with infants up to preschoolers, but my preference is the infants.
